Not only can One Hit Wonder be used as a direct-to-everything basecoat, but when mixed 8:1 with this hardener (8 parts One Hit Wonder with 1 part Xtra 2K Clear Activator), it becomes chemical resistant in 4 days, and almost as tough as powdercoat - no primer needed!
This is intended as a single stage color system and not intended for hydrodipping*. With this method, you do not need an additional clear coat. This is a great solution for adding a tough, durable color to parts that will see heavy use! This option is popular with Jon Boat painters.
*for dipping, use One Hit Wonder without hardener and apply a top clear coat after dipping.
